The New Balance 550 is a popular model after the sneaker was reintroduced in collaboration with Aimé Leon Dore. New Balance saw the opportunity to introduce more colours, including the 'Burgundy'.
 
The upper of the NB550 features perforated leather, plain leather and mesh. The colour that stands out the most on the upper is white. The collar and the 'N' on the side have been given a burgundy colour. For more contrast, the 'N' is outlined with a light turquoise colour and the '550' on the forefoot is also in this colour. The rest of the branding is in a combination of bordeaux and turquoise.
