Introducing the Vans Old Skool

The Vans Old Skool, originally released in 1977 as Style #36, debuted two features that would become synonymous with the brand: the iconic Jazz Stripe and reinforced leather panels for durability.
Constructed with a canvas-and-suede upper, padded collar for ankle support, and Vans’ signature vulcanised waffle sole, the Old Skool was built for skateboarding, and was quickly embraced by skaters and punk musicians for its toughness and rebellious edge.
