The Nike Air Force 1

One of the most iconic models in the sneaker world, the Nike Air Force 1 is known for its incredibly versatile style, with a wide variety of colorways and a comfortable fit. Introduced as a high-top model in 1982, the Air Force 1 Low was introduced only a year later. This basketball-inspired lifestyle sneaker is loved by sneakerheads, celebrities, and casual wearers alike.
The model is the result of Bruce Kilgore's efforts to merge Nike's Air technology into a basketball shoe. The technology places pressurised air into a pocket in the sole, contributing to the shoe's flexibility, elasticity and durability.
While the high-top sneaker was designed for high performance, with a circular tread for better grip on the court, the low-top has been picked up as a lifestyle model by the general population. The high-top version was worn by six top NBA players on court just a year after its launch.

Virgil Abloh's Louis Vuitton x Air Force 1

After a record-breaking Sotheby's auction and a special display, Louis Vuitton made Virgil Abloh's Nike Air Force 1 collab available to the general public in 2022.
Featuring nine colorways of the AF1 Low made with premium calf leather and LV monogram patterns, the collection was released online on 19 July 2022 via Louis Vuitton's website. The prices ranged from $2,750 to $3,450.
While you can find the sneakers on StockX, the prices now hover around the €9k mark for the white colorway, with the others costing around €4k.

Popular AF1 Colorways

Nike Air Force 1 Triple White

Triple White

The popularity of this all-white version of the Air Force 1 proves that a sharp design in a clean colorway is still one of the classics.
The only break in the design is the silver lace dubrae, which adds a small touch of elegance to the white leather upper paired with white laces, interior and sole.

Nike Air Force 1 Triple Black

Triple Black

In a contrast to the 'Triple White', the 'Triple Black' colorway provides a different choice for those who prefer a darker wardrobe.
Also available as a high-top version, the 'Triple Black' is a great alternative to the easy-to-mark 'Triple White' in the wetter seasons, concealing stains and dirt more easily.
Nike Air Force 1 low Gore-Tex 'Olive'

GORE-TEX® 'Olive'

One that's been designed specifically to withstand the elements, this Air Force 1 is made with Gore-Tex material, which is waterproof. While it comes in different colorways, the darker releases like 'Olive' are preferred for more outdoor looks.
The shoe also features great traction, and an upper made from textile and leather.
Nike Air Force 1 Low Wheat

WB 'Flax'

A must-have colorway for the cooler months, the 'Flax' has an upper made from nubuck leather and distinct circular laces that add a unique touch to the model.
The Air midsole ensures maximum comfort, and the wheat-hued colorway is perfect for an Autumn colour palette.
Nike Air Force 1 Low Tear-Away 'Artic Punch'

Tear-Away 'Pastel Reveal'

At first glance the Air Force 1 Tear-Away is a simple white sneaker, but the surprise comes when the top layer is torn away, revealing a colourful design and option for the wearer to completely customise their look.
The 'Pastel Reveal' colorway reveals light green, orange and pink colours underneath its white top layer.
Nike Air Force 1 Low Shadow 'Coconut Milk'

Shadow 'Coconut Milk'

The Air Force 1 Shadow 'Coconut Milk' is a great choice for those who like a vintage vibe in their sneaker collection.
With a deconstructed aesthetic, the Shadow variation of the AF1 offers a modern look while combining with a worn creamy colorway that provides a retro edge.
Nike Air Force 1 Low 'Love Letter' (2021)

'Valentine's Day' (2021)

While Nike release a Valentine's Day collection each year, the 2021 Nike Air Force 1 'Valentine's Day' stands out with heart-shaped perforations on the toe box and a beautiful pink and red colour palette.
Little touches like a love letter attached to the tongue and 'True Love Since '82' embroidered on the inside add to the motif.
Nike Air Force 1 Low 'Psychic Blue'

Psychic Blue

A subtle tie-dye effect on the heel tab is what sets the Air Force 1 'Psychic Blue' apart and makes it a great sneaker for the Summer.
Capturing the festival spirit, the blue and white colour scheme is simple but effective, and is easy to style with light and airy warm weather outfits.
Nike Air Force 1 LX WMNS 'UV'

UV Reactive Swoosh

Using a reactive fabric that changes colour when exposed to sunlight, the Nike Air Force 1 UV is a welcome addition to the model's range with its unique and innovate design.
With its stunning transformation on a sunny day, you can add a pop of colour to your outfit with the changing Swoosh and back panel.

Billie Eilish x Air Force 1 High

Released on 25 April 2022, the Nike Air Force 1 High collab with Billie Eilish was highly anticipated. The 'Mushroom' colorway of the shoes ensured it was able to be paired with anything in any style.
The unique design included five velcro foot-straps that ran from the heel to the top of the toebox, as part of the fine suede upper. Lace jewels displayed Billie's 'Blohsh' emblem, while the insoles were plastered with the phrase 'It's hard to stop it once it starts'.
