Saucony Gears Up for Grim Weather With a Four-Pair GORE-TEX Collection

Soggy socks season is officially here. Luckily, Saucony has a fix.

The brand has just dropped a four-pair GORE-TEX collection, giving waterproof upgrades to two lifestyle favourites and two of its proper running shoes.

A Closer Look at the Saucony GORE-TEX Collection...

ProGrid Omni 9 GTX

The retro runner of the moment gets weatherproofed. Open mesh with suede and leather overlays sits over a GORE-TEX membrane, while a TPU cage wraps the midfoot and GRID cushioning handles the ride.

It costs £180 and comes in a few colourways, including Ivory and Black/Silver.

Shadow 6000 GTX

The cheapest of the bunch at £140. The Shadow 6000 keeps its familiar look but adds a GORE-TEX upper, a premium sockliner, a lightweight EVA midsole with a durable polyurethane component and a triangular lug outsole for grip.

Guide TR GTX

Built for when the pavement runs out. The Guide TR uses GORE-TEX Invisible Fit, which bakes the waterproof membrane right into the shoe. PWRRUN cushioning sits on a broad-base platform, and the PWRTRAC outsole gets 3.5mm lugs for muddy trails.

It's priced at £160.

Triumph 24 GTX

The most cushioned and most expensive pair in the line-up, at £190. It also gets GORE-TEX Invisible Fit, paired with incrediLUX cushioning on a max-cushioned platform and an XT-900 carbon rubber outsole.
