Salomon is Dropping the Best XT-Whisper Colourways Yet

Originally designed for women to make their mark in trail racing, the iconic XT-Whisper has been brought back from the archives and reissued in bold colours for Spring/Summer 2025. In recent months, we’ve seen several colourways of this bold silhouette drop, with each one outdoing the last.

Now, we’re seeing three new colourways of the XT-Whisper that are perfect for the summer days, releasing on the 1st of April 2025 — and no, it’s not a joke.

Born from a desire for something different and backed by a heritage of racing technology, the XT-Whisper started life as the women’s version of the XT Hawk trail shoe, answering the call for more female-focused products in the market.

Salomon shifted from the masculine, rigid lines of its earlier designs to the XT-Whisper’s fresh, softer look, making it appealing to all genders while staying true to its performance roots. In early 2025, Salomon reintroduced the sneaker—this time as a lifestyle model.

The updated XT-Whisper blends bold textures with layered details and high-end finishes. The contrasting elements have been given a modern touch, with a rich material upper and a unique wavy Sensifit™ design.

And, of course, the original Quicklace™ system is still here.

Drop

The sneaker is releasing in three fresh colorways: ‘Fairy Tale’, ‘Short Bread’, and ‘Iced Aqua’, each using ombre effects. The Salomon XT-Whisper will release on the 1st of April 2025, at Salomon and selected retailers. Check the Drop Date calendar for all the details.
