Nike Mind 001 Slides Return With Fresh Colourways On 22 October

Slides are no longer just for the walk from the pool to the car park. Nike is back with the Mind 001, and this time it is bringing five fresh colourways with it.

Think of them as the shoe equivalent of a deep breath. Squishy, slightly weird and very much on the wavelength of anyone who likes their footwear with a story.

Release date? Thursday 22 October. Let us get into it.

A Closer Look at the Nike Mind 001…

First things first: what on earth are we looking at? The Mind 001 is a mule-style slide from the Nike Mind line, which the brand introduced in late 2025 and which is, according to Nike, designed around neuroscience. Sounds heavy. It is actually all about how the shoe feels underfoot.

22 Nodes, Zero Boring Steps

The party trick sits inside the footbed. There are 22 foam nodes that move up and down against your foot as you walk, topped with a stretch fabric layer. The idea is that this sensory feedback helps athletes stay focused and in the moment, at least according to Nike.

Underneath, you get soft foam in the midsole, while the upper keeps things simple with a knit, perforated tongue. Rubber pods at the toe and heel add grip, so you are not skating across the kitchen floor in your first pair.

Solar Red, Because Why Be Subtle?

Let us start with the loudest of the bunch. The Solar Red colourway (HQ4307-600) mixes Solar Red, Hyper Crimson, Black and Chrome. It is the men's version, and it is not exactly shy.

Then the Black (HQ4307-001) has you covered. It pairs Black with Hyper Crimson, White and Chrome, so you still get a little flash of red without going full tomato.

Next up is the Pearl Pink (HQ4309-610), a soft mix of Pearl Pink, Hyper Crimson, Black and Chrome. Sweet on the surface, with a punchy contrast underneath.

And For the Neutral Fans?

Last but not least, the Summit White (HQ4309-101) blends Summit White, Phantom, Light Orewood Brown and Metallic Silver. Earthy, clean and an easy match for pretty much any outfit.

Is This the Start of a Bigger Mind Era?

Looks like it. Nike already dropped a Mind collection back in April 2026, with the Mind 001 slide and the Mind 002 sneaker, and the line has also seen a collaboration with fragment's Hiroshi Fujiwara. These new colourways keep the momentum going.
