Longstanding collaborators NEIGHBORHOOD and Vans are back at it again. Continuing a creative partnership that stretches back nearly two decades, Shinsuke Takizawa’s Harajuku label has teamed up with the premium OTW by Vans line to deliver a clean iteration of the classic Authentic 44 model.

A Closer Look at the NEIGHBORHOOD x OTW by Vans Authentic 44...

We get two clean colourways in black and white. Stepping away from heavy graphics, this latest drop leans into refined materials and subtle branding. Both pairs swap traditional canvas uppers for plush, high-grade suede, giving the everyday skate design a premium touch.

True to NEIGHBORHOOD’s design ethos, the beauty of this release lies in the understated finish. Textural depth is built into the toe box and foxing, keeping the execution sleek.

The upper features debossed co-branded details, while the signature NEIGHBORHOOD hallmark—“Craft With Pride Tokyo 1994”—is etched into the side of the shoe.

Additionally, “NEIGHBORHOOD Tokyo/Est 1994 Technical Apparel Craft With Pride” graphics are placed on the toe cap in subtle lettering.
