Corteiz and Nike are back at it. And this time, Clint is literally putting his name on it.

After the Air Max 95 and the Air Trainer Huarache, the London label has turned its attention to the Shox R4. Meet the Corteiz x Nike Shox R419, landing this autumn in three colourways with a full apparel range in tow.

Why R419?

If you follow Corteiz, you already know. 419 is Clint's number, and it's all over this project.

He's tacked it onto the end of the R4's name and had it stamped straight into the sole mould. Even the silver Mercedes SLR in the campaign shots wears a matching 'R419' number plate. Subtle? Not really. Brilliant? Absolutely.

Why the Shox R4, Though?

The Shox R4 first arrived in 2000, and by the early 2000s it had become a proper staple on the streets of London.

So rather than digging out a dusty archive piece, Corteiz has gone for a runner that its home city actually wore. The classic four-column Shox midsole stays exactly where it should be, while the upper picks up Corteiz details on the side panels, Corteiz script branding and a 'CRTZ SHOX' tongue label. Even the box gets the co-branded treatment.

Silver, Black or Game Royal?

Three colourways make up the line-up, all in unisex sizing:

  • Metallic Silver (reportedly IQ9951-001) – the classic Shox look, finished with black laces and a black midsole

  • Black (reportedly IQ9951-002) – the stealthier option

  • Game Royal (reportedly IQ9951-400) – a bold blue with a silver Swoosh

According to the reported colour codes, all three get a hit of University Red too.

More Than Just Trainers

As usual with Corteiz, the shoes don't come alone. A nine-piece apparel range is lined up alongside them.

Expect short- and long-sleeve football shirts, nylon tracksuits and shorts in black, royal blue, silver and red. The standout piece is a utility vest packed with zip pockets and extra storage.

Corteiz and Nike: The Story So Far

Clint Ogbenna, better known as Clint419, founded Corteiz in London in 2017. The brand built its name on cryptic drops and hard-to-get stock, long before any big-name collabs.

The first official link-up with Nike came in 2023 with the Air Max 95, which went on to arrive in several colourways, including the 'Honey Black' in 2025. The Air Trainer Huarache followed in 2024. The Shox R419 is the next chapter.

How about the Drop Date?

Nothing's been officially locked in yet, but the collection is expected to roll out in late October and early November 2026 via the Corteiz webstore and Nike SNKRS.

Here in the UK, Saturday 31 October 2026 is the date doing the rounds, with the shoes reportedly retailing for £180. Neither has been confirmed by Nike or Corteiz, so treat both as provisional for now.
