Five collections in, and adidas Originals and ASOS clearly aren't running out of ideas.
Collection 05 is the latest chapter of the partnership and it's all about autumn layering: heavy textures, big outerwear and a few tracksuits that look more tailored than terrace. It lands on ASOS this Thursday for loyalty members, with everyone else following on Friday.

Think of it as sportswear that's been raiding a vintage tailor's wardrobe.
The headline piece is a grey herringbone track jacket (£120), paired with matching herringbone track pants (£85). Wear the two together and you've basically got a three-stripe suit.
Elsewhere, there's a floral embroidered tracksuit, a reworked argyle tracksuit, brushed knitwear and textured knits, plus wide-fit trousers and utility pieces. Trefoil and 3-Stripes branding pops up throughout.

Outerwear does a lot of the heavy lifting here. Oversized nylon jackets come with high funnel necks, and heavyweight borg pieces are ready for proper cold snaps.
The standout is a brown nylon puffer (£160) with exaggerated proportions and a protective collar that sits right up around your chin. Very much built for a British winter.
Yep. The campaign imagery shows a few louder moments as well: a zebra-print track jacket, a jewel-embellished high-neck pullover, a striped knit polo layered over a check shirt, and a snakeskin-effect piece.
It's a nice reminder that the collection isn't just about safe neutrals. There's room to have some fun.

The collection was designed in-house at ASOS, viewed through an adidas Originals lens. Stylist and creative Marcus Pancho is back on board for the styling.
According to Vanessa Spence, Executive Vice President of Brand and Creative at ASOS, menswear is becoming less about following one particular look. The idea is to blend adidas Originals' sporting heritage with relaxed tailoring, richer textures and more expressive styling.

The partnership started out in womenswear before branching into men's. Back in April, Drop 3 launched with a pop-up inside adidas' Oxford Street flagship, the first time ASOS had a physical retail presence. According to ASOS, average sell-through for that drop sat above 80%.
The first menswear collection followed in July, fronted by Arsenal and England winger Noni Madueke and built around a checked Firebird tracksuit. Collection 05 picks up where that left off, with a richer, more autumnal feel.
ASOS.WORLD loyalty members get first dibs from Thursday 15 October. The full collection then goes live globally on ASOS on Friday 16 October.
Prices run from £55 to £160, with sizes from XS to 2XL.
Heading to Paris? A four-day pop-up runs at the adidas Champs-Élysées store from 16 to 19 October.
