A Look at Drake x Nike NOCTA Glide Five New Colourways

Drake and Nike rekindle their innovative partnership once again to give us five new colourways of the Nike NOCTA Glide.

Humbly teased on the courtside of a Toronto Raptors game back in 2022, both Drake and Nike fans have been hungry for what the iconic pairing has in-store. After all, the Nike NOCTA Glide set the bar extremely high for the Swoosh sub-brand, garnished in unique detail and unparalleled construction. The silhouette draws visual inspiration from the Zoom Flight 95, associated with basketball star Jason Kidd. Seamlessly combining the dynamics of basketball culture with streetwear steeze, these kicks made their impact loud and clear. 

As we know, this certainly is not Drake’s first rodeo with Nike. With the likes of the Hot Step Air Terra NOCTA, Air Force 1 Low Certified Lover Boy and a variety of other interactions taking the scene by storm, the partnership has been well-received by fans of both powerhouses, giving us confidence that the future continues to shine bright for the Nike NOCTA enterprise. 

After a year of waiting, Drake x Nike fans are in luck. We’ve caught word of five vibrant colourways of the NOCTA due to hit the market this summer, with a bulky style for everyone. Sporting a fluorescent green and striking red hue, two out of the five palettes are sure to have heads turning when you enter the spot. Both the honeycomb mesh surrounding the upper and “bug eye” midsole deliver a futuristic, extraterrestrial feel that we can’t get enough of.

If you’re more partial to a more sleek, monochrome vibe, don’t worry, Drake and Nike have got you covered. With the remaining three palettes flaunting bases consisting of all black, all white, and an inverse of the classic Nike NOCTA Glide, these colourways can most definitely be worn more casually than their energetic counterparts (although we can’t guarantee they won’t always be the star of your ‘fit). Metallic silver accents are carried throughout each colourway, adding to the levels of sheer detail and characterisation that the NOCTA Glide exudes.

A release date for the new Nike NOCTA Glide colourways has not been confirmed by Nike thus far, however the Black White model are available to cop now, via NIKE & SELECTED STOCKISTS.
