The Offspring x adidas ZX8000 design draws inspiration from Portland stone, which has been used for centuries to build some of the most exquisite and opulent old buildings in London.

The stone's inherent beige and brown tones have been enhanced by daily wear and tear from the city and centuries-old rainfall. In order to maintain the integrity of the design's inspiration, OFFSPRING employed a combination of soft and high-quality leather, high-quality suede, hairy suede accents, and micro-perforation detailing in colours that were most evocative of Portland stone.

Even the tips of the lace were given a hint of mint green to symbolise the oxidised lead that is present on the rooftops of many London buildings.
