Hand-crocheted laces on a trainer from 1968. Sounds like something you'd find at a craft fair, right? Turns out it's one of the more interesting PUMA collabs of the year.
PUMA and Nahmias are bringing back the Suede Crochet, this time in three fresh colourways. It's expected to land in November. If you missed the first round, no stress. We've got the full story below.
A Closer Look at the PUMA x Nahmias Suede Crochet…

Wait, Who Is Nahmias?
Nahmias is a Los Angeles label run by founder Doni Nahmias. Think laid-back West Coast style, but with a real obsession for craft, texture and a bit of intentional imperfection. Nothing too polished, and that's on purpose.
The name really started popping off in the second half of 2025, helped along by an exclusive windbreaker tied to A24's Marty Supreme. For the same film, Doni made a one-off custom PUMA Suede. Eagle-eyed fans spotted the pink crochet details on it straight away. Turns out that was a sneak preview.
Where Did It All Start?
On the runway, actually. The first PUMA x Nahmias Suede pack debuted at Paris Fashion Week, with Doni Nahmias as creative director of the project. After a launch party at Maxfield in Los Angeles on 12 February 2026, the pack dropped globally the next day at PUMA, PUMA flagship stores and selected stockists.

There were three pairs: the Suede Vintage 'Warm White', the Suede Vintage 'Flat Dark Gray' and the Suede Crochet 'Jasmine Flower'. All three got the same lived-in treatment:
Distressed leather Formstrips
Asymmetrical suede overlays on the toe
Exposed foam edges
Crochet laces and friendship beads

Peek inside and you'll find "Let's Be Friends" printed on the insole, alongside co-branded graphics. A small detail, but it sums up the whole vibe of the partnership.

The Crochet was the odd one out, in the best way. Pastel pink suede, a crocheted pink Formstrip and chunky mint-and-yellow rope laces. Fair to say it stole the show.

So, What's New This Time?
This round is all about the Crochet. PUMA pairs premium suede with textured crochet detailing and canvas accents. The laces are crocheted by hand, and the crocheted Formstrip now curves across the side of the shoe in a wavy line. The result feels properly tactile, almost like someone made it at their kitchen table. In a good way.

According to the brands, the collection takes its cues from skateboarding and basketball. That makes sense. The Suede has been knocking about since 1968 and has lived plenty of lives since, from basketball courts to skateparks.
Do We Know the Colourways Yet?
We've seen them, at least. The first images show a sky-blue pair with a yellow Formstrip, a dark green pair with a tan Formstrip and a brown-on-brown pair, each with chunky patterned rope laces.

Official colourway names haven't been announced yet. Some early retailer listings mention 'Espresso Bean/Burnt Sand' and 'Bluemazing Yellow', but PUMA and Nahmias haven't confirmed these, so treat them as a hint rather than gospel.
Hang On, Breakfast Cereal?
Yep. To launch the new pairs, Nahmias' fictional cereal mascot Cornballs is teaming up with PUMA's very own Super PUMA. The pair are touring several cities with a custom street cart stacked with Cornballs boxes.
Inside, you'll find exclusive collectibles and tickets you can swap for the new trainers. The top prize? A golden ticket worth store credit at Nahmias. Willy Wonka would be proud. There's no word yet on whether the cart is stopping off in the UK.
How about the Drop Date?
The new PUMA x Nahmias Suede Crochet is expected in November. An exact UK release date and £ price haven't been confirmed yet. For reference, the first pack had an RRP of €150 in Europe.
