Matcha season is officially over.

Six months after her first sneaker drop with adidas Originals, Molly-Mae Hague is back with round two: the Molly-Mae x adidas Samba Slate. It's a limited-edition pair that trades pastel green for proper autumn greys, and it comes with a small edit of matching apparel too.

A Closer Look at the Molly-Mae x adidas Samba Slate...

So, What's the Shoe Like?

Picture your comfiest grey marl joggers, then put them on a Samba.

The upper is a heathered grey textile, framed by smoother grey overlays on the toe and heel. Off-white Three Stripes and an off-white Trefoil on the tongue keep it light, while the classic gum sole warms the whole thing up.

Officially, the colourway is Grey Three / Off White / Gum, and the style code is LA9033.

Wait, Double Laces Again?

Yep. The double-lace trick from the first drop carries over. This time you get one set in off-white and one in grey, and adidas' own product shots show both laced up together for a layered look.

Not feeling it? Simply pull one pair out and you've got a clean, everyday Samba.

Remind Me, Who's Molly-Mae?

Love Island, series five, summer 2019. Molly-Mae finished runner-up with Tommy Fury and quickly became one of the UK's best-known creators.

Since then she's been creative director at PrettyLittleThing, launched her own label Maebe in 2024, and her Prime Video docuseries Molly-Mae: Behind It All picked up a National Television Award in 2025. Not bad going.

How Did We Get Here?

The partnership kicked off on 9 April 2026 with two pairs inspired by iced summer drinks: a matcha-green Samba with white and baby pink laces, and a cream Superstar II with brown stripes and latte-toned laces. Both retailed at £100.

So why the Samba again? Molly-Mae calls it "a natural next step" and reckons the Slate has timeless appeal for an autumn wardrobe. Over at adidas, Steve Marks, VP Brand for adidas UK, describes it as a fresh take on an iconic silhouette.

Fancy the Full Fit?

The campaign has Molly-Mae in a light check top and wide grey trousers, and that check pops up on the Blousy Check Track Top (£75), which lands on Friday 23 October 2026 at 8am.
