Pharrell’s Runway Favourite Is Finally Landing: The adidas VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish ‘Timber’

If you were keeping tabs on Paris Fashion Week back in 2025, you probably caught a glimpse of Pharrell Williams rocking a seriously wild, earth-toned silhouette at the Louis Vuitton show. Well, good news. The wait is almost over, as official imagery has finally loaded up for the Pharrell x adidas VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish ‘Timber’.

A Closer Look at the Pharrell Williams x adidas VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish ‘Timber’…

Serving as the flagship centerpiece of the VIRGINIA range, this silhouette bridges the gap between rugged, industrial trail aesthetics and high-fashion runway design. You can read more about the Jellyfish here.

The visual allure of the Adistar Jellyfish rests entirely on its deeply complex, heavily layered architecture! All of this is making it one of the most recognisable shapes for sure. The foundation is built around a mesh upper that is here dipped in a rich, dark chocolate ‘Auburn’ hue. We then get some tonal, organic synthetic overlays wrapped across the toe cap, quarter panels, and heel.

To break up the design, Pharrell uses calculated bursts of high-visibility neon. Bright, electric yellow accents in this case.

The defining feature, of course, is the radical, organically curved support beams that sweep from the upper lace stays fluidly down toward the heel counter, mimicking the undulating anatomy of a jellyfish. Of course, we also get a premium lifestyle comfort with the oversized sole unit that embeds adidas Torsion tech within the midfoot and gives maximum stability.

As for the design, we also get some co-branded patches on the tongue showcasing the VIRGINIA imprint alongside the iconic adidas Trefoil logo.

The Pharrell x adidas VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish ‘Timber’ (Style Code: KK2889) is slated to drop around September 2026. Expect to find them landing via the adidas CONFIRMED app and select retailers.
