When JJJJound and New Balance link up, you know it's going to be quiet, considered and ridiculously wearable. Justin Saunders' Montreal label is heading back to where it all started in 2018, the 990v3, and this time it's going all in on suede.

Forget the usual mesh. The entire upper is wrapped in a sandy tan suede, giving the Made in USA runner an almost tonal, one-piece look. Black takes care of the rest, with the 'N' logos, trim and the chunky ENCAP sole unit all blacked out.

As ever, JJJJound keeps the branding to a whisper. You'll find the logo on the insole and a small hit on the heel, while the tongue carries the classic 'new balance USA' tag.

The JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 Suede lands on 22 October 2026 via JJJJound.com, with UK pricing expected at around £230. A wider New Balance launch hasn't been confirmed yet.
