Back in 2000, Nike built the Goadome as its answer to Timberland's work boot. Twenty-six years later, it's finally getting the workwear treatment it was made for, courtesy of Carhartt WIP.
It's also a reunion of sorts. The Carhartt WIP x Nike Air Max Goadome Low marks the label's first project with the Swoosh since 2018, and it lands as a three-pair pack: 'Twilight Marsh', 'Light British Tan' and 'Black'.
After weeks of teasers and a mock-up doing the rounds, Nike has now shared official images of the 'Twilight Marsh' pair. And they give us a much better idea of what Carhartt WIP has actually changed.
A Closer Look at the Carhartt WIP x Nike Air Max Goadome Low…
Rather than simply dropping a new colour onto the Goadome, Carhartt WIP has reworked the upper itself. Extra panelling and a full mudguard wrap around the shoe, while an open window on the side, edged in stitching that recalls the Air Max Tailwind 4, gives it its most distinctive feature.
The hardware is pure workwear. Rope laces run through metal hooks instead of standard eyelets, a small Swoosh sits quietly in the side window and the tongue carries a leather patch. Carhartt's own branding is kept just as low-key, with a small black label tucked onto the lateral heel.
Underfoot, it's classic Goadome: a chunky black midsole with visible Air units and a deep-lugged outsole that wouldn't look out of place on a building site.
'Twilight Marsh' (IW6306-300)
The pair Nike has just shown off officially is the darkest of the earthy trio. Dark olive leather wraps around black canvas on the side panels, which is quilted with vertical stitching. Olive rope laces add a subtle contrast, and the official colourway reads Twilight Marsh/Light British Tan-Light Cream-Black.
'Light British Tan' (IW6306-200)
The most classic Carhartt look of the three. A tan suede base, very much in the spirit of the label's Hamilton Brown jackets, is broken up with darker accents in Metallic Ochre, Twilight Marsh, Black and Dark Cinder.
'Black' (IW6306-001)
For anyone after something more understated, the Black version is done entirely in leather, with only small hints of Twilight Marsh and Light British Tan breaking up the dark upper.
Even the packaging gets in on it. Each pair comes in a co-branded box featuring both the Swoosh and the WIP logo.
When Is the Drop Date?
The Carhartt WIP x Nike Air Max Goadome Low pack is scheduled for holiday 2026. An official UK release date and pricing are yet to be confirmed.
When it does land, expect pairs via Nike SNKRS, Carhartt WIP and selected retailers.
