Houston, we have a hoops collab.
Nike and the LEGO Group are back at it, and this time they've taken basketball off-planet. Their new space-themed kids' collection pairs the Nike Air Force 1 Low LV8 with the S.T. Dynamite, Nike's basketball shoe made specifically for younger players, and throws in four pieces of apparel for good measure.
Better still, you don't have to wait. Everything has been available in the UK and across Europe since 2 November 2026.
A Closer Look at the Nike x LEGO Basketball Collection…

First up, the Air Force 1. Nike styled this one after an astronaut's spacesuit, dressing the leather upper in a Sail/Rush Red/Tour Yellow/Cobalt Blaze colourway. In other words: mostly off-white, with hits of primary colour that look like they've been pulled straight from a tub of bricks.
Get up close and there's loads to spot. Sketched black stitching traces the panels and gives the whole shoe a hand-drawn feel. On the lateral side, the Swoosh has been reworked into a rocket orbiting a yellow planet, and LEGO minifigure details are dotted around the rest of the shoe.

It comes in older kids' sizing under the style code IU2551-100.
The S.T. Dynamite Lands on an Ice Planet
If the AF1 is the spacesuit, the S.T. Dynamite (IU2556-001) is the alien terrain. Nike built this pair around an ice planet theme: a black base, white and Current Blue accents, colour-shifting finishes and, yes, a glitter outsole.
It's made with the smallest ballers in mind, so there are elastic laces and a hook-and-loop strap instead of traditional laces. Getting them on before school shouldn't turn into a space mission of its own.

Don't Sleep on the Hoodie
Four apparel pieces complete the line-up: printed ripstop trousers, a graphic T-shirt with a basketball-kit feel, Dri-FIT mesh basketball shorts and a full-zip fleece hoodie.
That hoodie is our pick of the bunch. It carries LEGO space and Nike Swoosh logos, plus a lenticular patch with a basketball minifigure that changes as you move. On the sleeve, there's a spaceship-style port holding a custom Nike Rayguns minifigure, a fun nod to Nike Basketball's fictional Roswell Rayguns team.
The ripstop trousers bring durable fabric and space graphics, while the Dri-FIT shorts are the most performance-ready piece in the drop, made for actual time on court.

From the Air Max Dn to the Hardwood
Nike and LEGO kicked off their multi-year partnership in 2025, and it's been busy ever since. First came the LEGO x Nike Air Max Dn, swiftly followed by a buildable Dunk set.
In March 2026 the Air Max 95 'Neon' got the brick treatment alongside a Big Bubble kids' sneaker, and in June the pair launched the 'Play On Instinct' kids' football collection.
After the pitch, the court was the obvious next stop. Built on the idea that play fuels creativity, this drop mixes Nike's sporting know-how with LEGO's instantly recognisable bricks and minifigures.
