In 2021, New Balance released the 2002R 'Protection Pack'. These sneakers had rough overlays and it looked like the kicks were already completely worn out. This pack made the 2002R model extra popular. A year later, New Balance released the 'Refined Future' pack, with the same details.
The New Balance 2002R 'Mirage Green' - Refined Future (M2002RDD) has a green colour scheme. The base of the shoe is made of mesh and has a blue-green colour. The leather overlays are light grey and make the colours look a little lighter. On the remaining overlays, suede is used in green. These overlays have the same broken details and look very rugged.
