The adidas Originals Handball Spezial debuted in 1979 as a special design for handball players. However, the adidas Spezial model has become a beloved streetwear sneaker because of its vintage and retro feel. 
 
This iteration of the adidas Originals Handball Spezial comes monochromatic colour scheme. The upper of the sneaker features black suede leather all throughout. adidas' famous Three Stripes logo can be seen on the side of the sneaker in white, matching the heel of the silhouette. Above the three stripes, the name of the design comes in signature gold. The branded tongue label featured in white gives unity to the design while keeping the colour palette neutral.
 
The sneaker is completed by dark-brown gum sole with adidas branding on the side.
