The New Balance 530 Gets a Vibrant Makeover by Salehe Bembury

UPDATED 31/10/24: Salehe Bembury and New Balance might’ve kept us waiting since June, but their aforementioned New Balance 530 is finally here. Landing with the official title of ‘Prosperity Be the Prize’ – the collaboration is AVAILABLE NOW through Bembury’s website, with another drop expected to land at NEW BALANCE & SELECT RETAILERS.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE 18/06/24: In 2024, Salehe Bembury has been on fire in the collab department, dropping the New Balance 1906R ‘HEAT BE HOT’ Pack earlier this year. Now, in June, he’s back at it again, revealing his latest project with New Balance. Over on his IG, Salehe gave us a sneak peek a vibrant New Balance 530. Let’s see what it’s all about!

Alongside the 1906R, Bembury’s been teaming up with New Balance, including a sick makeover of the 2002R. And true to his style, this version of the New Balance 530 is anything but boring. The upper rocks mesh and suede in a bold lime green, with pops of purple and plum on the branding and sole.

You’ve also got hints of grey and blue making the iconic ‘N’ logo on the sides stand out. Plus, a ‘Salehe Bembury’ label around the ankle adds that extra bit of exclusivity.
