Kicking us off with a silhouette teased all the way back in June, the Nike Air Max 1 WMNS ‘Tan Lines’ is finally in reach! This model boasts a delightful spectrum of pastel overlays, formed with distressed suede fabrics. Contrasted by a pale grey mesh panelling on the upper, the sandy beige mudguard allows for vintage-inspired feel. The faded ombré midsole feels reminiscent of days in the sun – unintentionally leaving your kicks outside for slightly longer than you should’ve. Retro Nike branding takes prime position on the tongue, heel and midsole, rounding off this textured delight.

The sneaker’s appearance keeps things sleek and sophisticated, opting for a timeless black and white palette.

Thursday 7th December

Sacai x Nike Magmascape

‘Light British Tan’ FN0563-200 / ‘Varsity Royal’ FN0563-400

Within this dynamic offering, the cult label sees the Nike Air Footscape and Air Magma merge to form a hybrid lovechild – enter, the sacai x Nike Magmascape. Exuding trail-ready steez, the fresh-off-the-runway model incorporates the essence from both retro contributors. Utilising a boot silhouette, the collaborative Magmascape boasts a reimagined sole unit, adopting a B&W contrast within the ‘Varsity Royal’. The ‘Light British Tan’ colourway, however, sports a neutral beige and black lower, complimenting the chocolate-y hues of the upper. Of course, it wouldn’t be a sacai sneaker without the signature double lacing, bringing another level of precision to this already intricate capsule.

Since the announcement of the inaugural 991v2 at the start of October, New Balance aren’t planning on slowing down, with an all-new collab. Paying homage to the impeccable quality and style that both contributors possess in abundance, the ‘Pickle Beat’ iteration expresses a dynamic palette of grey, plum and neon lime. Taking notes from the alliance’s previous 990v3 collaboration, the fluorescent hue strikes again within the laces and midsole segments across both offerings. A silvery grey mesh forms a breathable base, overlaid with premium pigskin suede, emphasising the luxury steez. These kicks are clearly in a league of their own, providing stealthy style and unparalleled quality. What else would we expect from a duo so reputable?

Saturday 9th December

Air Jordan 11 Retro ‘Gratitude’ | CT8012-170

Making up the remaining half of the ’06 Defining Moments Pack revival, the Air Jordan 11 Gratitude is available from this Saturday. The model is pretty much identical to the original, plus a few new features Premium leather takes the place of the ballistic mesh throughout the upper, whilst a glossy finish is swapped out for a patent flair. Grounding the iteration is a clean white midsole, situated atop a dynamic creamy outer. In alignment with the name, the model features text woven into the inner tongue. Depicting the words, Quality Basketball Product Created In Gratitude By The Greatest Player Ever, we’re grateful to the Jumpman enterprise for completing this iconic revival pack.
