The Latest Bape x Vans Collection Channels ’90s Streetwear

In a distinctive fusion of two heritage labels, BAPE and Vans reignite their collaborative fire with a collection spanning across the OG Old Skool and Sk8-Mid silhouettes.

Beginning their partnership back in 2021, the duo have cemented their joint efforts in the footwear collaboration hall-of-fame. Channelling ‘90s streetwear throughout the capsule at hand, BAPE and Vans are delivering sheer skate nostalgia with this two-piece capsule – taking notes from a time where streetwear culture was (debatably) at its most authentic. 

A Closer Look at the Bape x Vans Collection…

Old Skool (VN000E6VE36) / Sk8-Mid (VN000MZGCX3)

Kicking off with the Old Skool first, the silhouette receives all the BAPE trimmings, decked out with its iconic camo pattern across the quarter panelling. Injecting a colourful flair into the exterior, each sidewall expresses a different one of the Japanese label’s signature Camo hues, for an intriguing edge. Shades of blue, pink, and of course, green, flood the construction with colour, adorned with the classic BAPE Star logo.

Next up is the Sk8 Mid, opting for a more minimal approach with maximum impact. Boasting the iconic camo across the canvas sidewalls, this iteration showcases a new take on the Sidestripe by blending it with the BAPE Star logo. Underfoot, both offerings display a translucent rubber sole, revealing the signature camo once more.
