It’s 11 years since NIKE introduced FREE technology and for 2015 they’re introducing some updates to these popular models.
The refined collection includes three models – the NIKE FREE 3.0 FLYKNIT, NIKE FREE 4.0 FLYKNIT and the NIKE FREE 5.0 – which have been adapted to better accentuate a runner’s natural motion. The Flyknit models feature seamless knit uppers that conform perfectly to the shape of the foot, as well as providing better breathability by using slightly looser knits. The Free sole has been updated across the range with hexagonal flex grooves that provide a fuller range of motion and allow organic adaptation of the foot to the ground. The Free 5.0 has shed off a few excess layers, utilising a no-sew mesh with Flywire technology incorporated to secure the foot. All six colourways are predominantly a mix of red and orange shades, with hits of black adding some contrast and pops of teal or volt thrown in to add some extra colour.
The six colourways we see here of the NIKE 2015 FREE COLLECTION are scheduled to drop starting on THURSDAY 2 APRIL, so make sure to check back with us for more info closer to the time.
