Six years since we saw the inaugural Dame 4 hit shelves – decked out in the premium streetwear label’s signature iconography – the Three-Stripes and BAPE are resparking the fire on their joint venture that spans across 9 models. Centring around the iconic basketball silhouette named after Blazers legend Damian Lillard, it goes without saying that the tech certainly won’t let you down on the court.

Looking to the goat himself, the Dame 9 showcases fresh functionality based off of Lillard’s own court specifications. Weighing in at an extremely light 14.5 oz to ensure your mobility is on form no matter the circumstance, the shoe boasts zoned cushioning within the midsole to keep things airy whilst prioritising comfort.

Multi-directional patterning works in unison with a density outsole for specific traction and foot striking, whilst a supportive full-length foot provides optimal force transfer. Made complete with a nubuck toe cap for reinforced shielding – these kicks tick all the boxes of progressive tech.

And appeal doesn’t just reside within the construction – showcasing vibrant exteriors that exude BAPE’s Japanese craftsmanship. The first of the pair flaunts the label’s signature Camo patterning across the sidewalls, garnished with gold accents that make the silhouette pop. Tying in the neutrals, a gum outsole completes the look, significantly contrasting the ‘Red SOLID CAMO’ counterpart.
