Serving up a delectable collaboration, Salomon and VANDYTHEPINK introduce the VANDYTHEPINK Speedcross 3, a reimagined take on heritage, inspired by the layers of a burger.

It goes without saying that creative multi-hyphenate Junghoon Son, better known as VANDYTHEPINK, is here for an unconventional, playful point of inspiration. More specifically, shining a light on the art of the humble burger to fuel his creations. We’ve seen it in his unique take on the Wallabee, and the infamous Burger ‘Dunks’ – and now, the South Korean artist is uniting with Salomon for an elevation of the burger-shoe-phenomenon. 

“Salomon has been one of my favourite brands for a while, and I’m super grateful for the opportunity to represent my culture as the first Korean-owned brand they’ve collaborated with. I wanted to create something playful and fun for your next trail run but stylish enough to wear on the street. This bold release celebrates the colourful, multi-textured personality of VANDYTHEPINK – blending artistry and utility in equal measure. Playfully expressing a fun graphic layout, the upper pays rightful tribute to each element of the burger, a warm, toasty brown bun, vibrant green lettuce, and rich, savoury tones representing the patty. But the real pièce de résistance? A cheeky homage to fries hidden in the sock liner, showcasing an all-over print that ties the meal together. Embodying the tongue-in-cheek approach of VANDYTHEPINK’s fun storytelling through fashion, these kicks go way beyond just a pretty shoe.

The Speedcross 3’s technical prowess elevates the design to more than just a visual feast. The breathable open mesh upper ensures maximum airflow, while Salomon’s legendary lug pattern delivers unmatched grip across diverse terrains. A protective band around the base offers lightweight durability, allowing wearers to transition seamlessly from rugged trails to urban escapades.
