The ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST COLLECTIVE BY KRIS VAN ASSCHE follows up the earlier clean and simple release with something a little less discreet.
Belgian designer Kris Van Assche is more commonly know for his tonal white and black aesthetic, but this time around he’s given the shoes a ‘preppy’ makeover. The uppers sport an argyle pattern across the toe in either a tonal white, black and grey or the more colourful navy blue, red and grey. The rest of the upper, lining, and plastic overlay are finished in the darkest colour from the argyle pattern, which ties it all together nicely and allows the pattern to pop. Underneath on both pairs is a crisp white BOOST midsole, which is rounded off with either a contrasting bright green or colour-matched red respectively. With the popularity of the ULTRA BOOST at the moment, we can see these doing very well… even with their unusual choice of pattern!
