A First Glimpse of the NOCTA x Nike Hot Step 2 ‘Rattan’

As we plummet into colder months, Drake’s NOCTA is getting us ready for winter with the latest edition of the Nike Hot Step 2 – ‘Rattan’. 

Inviting an all new colourway into the roster that differs significantly from the usual bold and outspoken palettes, the latest iteration seamlessly captures the essence of autumn with an earthy hue. Still maintaining the silhouette’s streamlined persona and silver detailing, we can almost guarantee that these kicks will be a hit with both sneaker enthusiasts and streetwear fashionistas with their versatile charm. 

As with the first glance of most NOCTA drops, we first caught wind of this colourway via a flurry of story shares from some of London’s coolest talent. Although official imagery has not yet been confirmed by the Nike sub-label, let’s take a look at what we know so far.

A Closer Look at the NOCTA x Nike Hot Step 2 ‘Rattan’ (DZ7293-200)…

Dressed in the typical moulded construction that we’ve come to expect from the label, this offering sticks to the NOCTA formula with synthetic leather uppers. Although the entirety of the upper dons a monochrome beige hue, the signature 3M reflective finishes stay perfectly intact, bringing a distinctively familiar touch. As always, branding proudly takes place on the tongue and sockliner, situated atop Air-sole cushioning for optimal comfort.
