In 2019, Nike re-released the Air Max Plus 3, a cult classic and staple of Nike's Tuned Air lineup. Sean McDowell's early 2000s design has recently undergone some somber changes. The forefoot Tuned Air logo and heel counter are both highlighted in brilliant white in the ‘Black Aqua’ colorway.

This shoe's midsole, mudguard, heel, collar overlay, and tongue are all black. The sock lining and laces carry on the theme.
