2021 was the 30th anniversary of the Nike Air Max BW silhouette, and in celebration the brand released the ‘City Pack’ containing four different colorways. 

The ‘Beijing’ has been given an aged look with a black, white and brown colorway, speaking to the city’s long history. Made from leather, mesh and nylon, features include ‘Beijing’ spelt across the heel in all caps, and traditional Chinese characters used as another call out to the city on the left sneaker’s tongue. The gold dubraes at the base of the laces shoe both 1991 and 2021 in celebration of the model’s 30th birthday. 

The other releases in the ‘City Pack’ were the ‘Lyon’, ‘Los Angeles’ and ‘Rotterdam’ colorways.
