2021 was the 30th anniversary of the Nike Air Max BW silhouette, and in celebration the brand released the ‘City Pack’ containing four different colorways. 

The ‘Lyon’ is dressed in black, white and grey mesh and leather in a monochrome approach. In subtle nods to the city, a Lyon variation of the Nike logo is seen on the tongue of the left shoe, the French flag is printed on the insole, and ‘Lyon’ is spelt out across the heel in all caps. Another nice detail is that the silver dubraes at the base of the laces show both 1991 and 2021 in celebration of the model’s 30th birthday. 

The other releases in the ‘City Pack’ were the ‘Beijing’, ‘Los Angeles’ and ‘Rotterdam’ colorways.
