The Nike Air Force 1 first came out as a basketball shoe. Soon, the pair was picked up by the sneaker community as an everyday pair. Since then, the silhouette has seen multiple colorways and variations. One of these is the Pixel.
 
The Pixel model is inspired by the digital pixels we are confronted with every day. The leather upper is a bit narrower on this silhouette, which allowed Nike to implement more details on the midsole and outsole. These elements seem disturbed by mismatched squares, representing the pixels. Also on the heel and tongue is the Nike branding in the form of a pixel. Even the laces have a square lace lock.
