The Melitta Baumeister x Nike Rift Rocker is a collaboration with the New York-based designer, who is known for sculptural silhouettes. The upper layers cracked-look synthetic leather over a soft neoprene-like base in black, with a split toe inspired by the tabi and clay-like, hand-shaped Swooshes. A grosgrain strap with a hook-and-loop closure crosses the instep, with the Nike script on one end and the Melitta Baumeister New York City name on the other. The insole reads THINK on the left and OUTSIDE on the right, and the translucent rubber outsole carries a custom traction pattern.
