Netflix isn’t messing about with its promotions this time, teaming up with big brands for collaborations that go well beyond just watching the show. One of the most buzzworthy partnerships? PUMA, bringing fans a collection of sneakers and apparel inspired by the show’s unforgettable visuals and themes.
The PUMA x Squid Game collection is serving up three revamped classics: the Easy Rider, Palermo, and Suede. Each design is packed with details that hardcore fans will spot straight away.
The Easy Rider is a standout, channelling the green and red of the contestants’ tracksuits and the guards’ jumpsuits. The leather and suede combo makes it sleek, while a Young-hee hang tag (yes, the creepy robot doll from ‘Red Light, Green Light’) adds that extra Squid Game touch. Look inside, and you’ll find a custom insole graphic nodding to the games.
Next up is the Palermo, a low-key banger with a clean white and orange palette. While it’s a bit more understated, there’s still plenty of series-inspired flavour, especially the insole graphics and braided lining, which hint at the marble game’s melancholic vibes.
