Welcoming the Air Max Pulse “Have A Nike Day”

The globally-hyped Nike capsule welcomes its most creatively-driven sneaker yet, to bring us the Air Max Pulse “Have A Nike Day”. Since the collections launch in March 2019, we’ve seen iterations of classic Swoosh icons, such as the Air Force 1 and Air Max 97. Following in their footsteps is a new addition of the Air Max Pulse, released in celebration of 2023’s Air Max Day. 

The “Have a Nike Day” collection is recognised for its light-hearted and playful designs, reminding us that the sneaker industry really isn’t that serious. Just take a look at the capsule’s imaginative Air Force 1, equipped with a built-in bottle opener! Because how many times have you been for a walk and thought, “God, I wish my shoes could open this bottle”. A great solution to a riveting issue, in my opinion. As for the Air Max Pulse, creativity never goes amiss. With co-signs from big names like Nia Archives, it makes perfect sense for this dynamic model to join the family.

The silhouette flaunts a white mesh upper, directly contrasted by a “Metallic Silver” leather mudguard. Bright pops of colour take shape within neon green stitching, leading us to a miniature Swoosh on the lateral sidewall. A blue semi-transparent Air Max heel unit accommodates a black speckled heel counter, adding to the overall dynamic structure.

Continuing with the multi-coloured theme, the laces boast a spectrum of vibrant hues, sat just behind woven orange detailing. Wrapping up the silhouette is none other than the collection’s Smiley icon. Sitting proudly on the tongue and within the right insole, this fun iteration is one for the books.
