Vans continue their 50th Anniversary series with a long-overdue reissue of the VANS X MADRID FLYPAPER SK8-HI PRO.
Known as the original griptape manufacturer, Madrid Skateboards is hitting their own 40th Anniversary so the timing couldn’t be better. The Californian skate hardware brand joined forces with Vans for their OG collaboration way back in 1987, and for this reissue the shoe has been updated with modern technology while retaining all the visual appeal of its predecessor (including the iconic Flypaper graphic of course). The original reinforced ollie pad and Madrid Flypaper side panels hark back to skateboarding’s past, while the Ultracush HD sockliners and Duracap toe bumpers bring this reissue into the future with enhanced durability and cushioning.
