The dynamic streetwear favourite receives a dark brown amendment to give us the Nike Air More Uptempo Black/Dark Brown. Arriving as an extension of the Nike Air More Uptempo Triple Black, this iteration flaunts one key difference. A. deep chocolate hue that floods the distinctively bulky underfoot.
Predominantly linked to NBA star Scottie Pippen, the Nike Air More Uptempo gained popularity in the 90’s. The bulkiness and authenticity of the silhouette was well received by sneaker collectors and fashion enthusiasts alike, accumulating a positive reputation across subcultures. Nike have since continued to progress the model throughout a range of collaborations and colourways, such as AMBUSH’s “Limestone” and even a partnership with Serena Williams.
The dimly coloured silhouette boasts a midnight black exterior, composed of premium leather and mesh. A polished persona is achieved through shiny leather panelling and bubble-like AIR branding, taking shape on a perforated leather base. The dark chocolate tread shyly contrasts the black hue, equipped with a flurry of Nike Air units for added cushioning. It’s important to be comfy when you’re out ‘n’ about (especially being the coolest person in the room in your new Uptempo’s).
