After a 13 year hiatus, the Nike ACG Rufus is BACK! For anyone who enjoys comfortable footwear that gives zen vibes in abundance, this is big news. When the distinctive shoe launched back in 2011, it was the go-to choice for a light venture outdoors. The slip-on functionality meant no toggles or elaborate lacing systems, convinent for it’s on-the-go use. As with a lot of old-school Swoosh endeavours (like the Zoom Vomero 5 and Air Footscape Woven), the Oregon-based brand knows how to pull a model from shelves, before reviving them at just the right time.

A Closer Look at the Nike ACG Rufus Mule ‘Limestone’ (FV2923-200)…

Donning a subtly textured suede throughout the upper, the ‘Limestone’ hue adopts the dominant colour of the silhouette. A miniature embossed Swoosh adorns the lateral sidewalls in the same shade, also evident at the toe box in a dark tone. Appearing almost identical to the OG, this silhouette has proved its timeless aesthetic.

Looking towards the lower, the shoe is supported by a chunky foam midsole, lined with rubber for traction on-the-move. Finished off with the ‘All Conditions Gear’ embellished into the insole, this iconic revival definitely has the thumbs up from us.
