Joining forces in light of a mutual love for sporting, Stepney Workers Club x Kartik Research present a dynamic capsule collection. Featuring a selection of exclusive sneakers and apparel that pays homage to cricket culture and human connection, it’s safe to say that these collaborators make a perfect match.

Beginning its remarkable journey back in 2018, Stepney Workers Club is a London born-and-raised label founded by Simon See and Roger Pereira. Drawing inspiration from the inclusive culture of traditional workers’ sports clubs, the brand weaves heritage into each of their versatile sneaker models. Paired with Indian brand Kartik Research’s ethos of reintroducing humanness into clothing, this wholesome alliance is a match made in heaven.

A Closer Look at the Stepney Workers Club x Kartik Research Capsule…

Championing S.W.C’s iconic Amiel S-Strike for a collaborative take, the collection features an ingenious twist on the silhouette, drenched in a palette reminiscent of ‘cricket’ tones. Kartik Research’s signature vintage Kantha quilting fabrics dress the base, whilst blue embroidery dances across the tongue panels for a striking edge. Looking towards the back of the shoe, mirror circles nod to New Delhi label’s aesthetic whilst bringing that extra sprinkle of authenticity.

The stand-out of the apparel offering has to be the Varsity Jacket, meticulously crafted using vintage Kantha quilting fabric. The rest of the collection features a Training Top, Chore Coat and Track Pat, each made from fabric sourced in India.
