A mysterious campaign of stickers and murals has appeared around London, hinting at a forthcoming partnership between NIKE and grime don SKEPTA…
The minimal “Sk AIR” image appeared last week as a mural outside the Nike 1948 store in Shoreditch, followed by a wave of sticker sightings across the capital. As yet there’s no official info, but the rumours are swirling – and with Skepta himself posting the new imagery on his Instagram feed, all the signs are suggesting that this is legit. The big question of course, is what shoe to expect. Back in 2016 Skepta and Nike made a one-off Air Max Classic BW, but this time round we hear whispers that point to the NIKE AIR MAX 97 ULTRA being the canvas for a new collaborative release at the beginning of September – or maybe that should be Skeptember?
