The Sean Wotherspoon x Nike Air Max 1/97 VF SW Has Landed

The much-hyped SEAN WOTHERSPOON x NIKE AIR MAX 1/97 VF SW is finally in our sights, with the official release date just around the corner…

Nike Air Max fans have been patiently awaiting the global release of the ‘Vote Forward’ winner’s creation – and in case you’ve been asleep for the past six months, that winner was the owner of the famous streetwear boutique Round Two, Sean Wotherspoon. As one of the twelve ‘Revolutionairs’ selected to enter the competition, his corduroy-covered hybrid combines the upper of the Air Max 97 with the sole of the Air Max 1, resulting in a design that has divided opinions like nothing else. The design takes inspiration from Wotherspoon’s love for vintage Nike products. As well as that, other items inspired the multicoloured construction (corduroy hats, for example) evident in the shoe’s colourway of blue, pink and yellow with earthy tones of brown, grey, and green.
