Saucony x Hanon Shadow Master

The beginning of March saw the launch of the SAUCONY X HANON SHADOW MASTER, an excellent collaboration between the heavyweight brand and the Scottish retailer.

The Shadow Master is an interesting project, as it takes the upper of the Master Control, first released in ’91, and sits it upon the distinctive sole unit of the classic Shadow 5000 from the previous decade. By combining two of the store’s favourite silhouettes from the running specialists back catalogue, adding a premium mix of materials, and finished it all off with a striking Orange on Black/Grey colourway, this is most definitely not a release to miss out on.

The Master Control upper is a mix of lux pig suede and full grain leather, with a punched leather tongue lined in Safety orange satin, finished off with 3M tonal accents on the toebox and heel tab, dual branded tongue label and the now infamous HANON ‘Flame’ detail embroidered on to the heel.

The release comes with three sets of colour-matched laces and a branded dust bag to round off the package, and dropped in the UK, exclusively with HANON on SATURDAY 2.3.13 both in-store and then online, followed by a wider drop this coming weekend, SATURDAY 9.3.13 with a heavyweight line-up of European stockists, as follows…
