Rihanna Flexes Bright New FENTY x PUMA Avanti Colourway

Rihanna and PUMA kicked off their collaboration back in 2014 when she was named the creative director for PUMA’s women’s line. Since then, the multi-hyphenate has had several successful projects with the sports label, including the PUMA Avanti that dropped in 2023. Fast-forward to July 2024, and she’s teasing a new colourway during the Manchester City vs. AC Milan match in New York City, perfectly co-ordinating with the second club’s colours.

PUMA first launched the Avanti in 2001, inspired by footie boots from the y2k era. It’s a mash-up of two of PUMA’s classic styles – the King football boot and the Easy Rider running shoe. Resulting in a sleek, vintage leather shoe with a slim sole, the kicks are ideal for leisurely activities, so no surprise that RiRi stepped correct!

We’ve already seen some laid-back colours like black and white, but now they’re stepping it up with a bright red version, bang on with the AC Milan kit. Bit of a shame for Jack Grealish, playing for City, but we’re sure he couldn’t help but get starstruck all over again by meeting her!

The next FENTY x PUMA Avanti Colourway is dropping at the END OF 2024. Unfortunately, we don’t have an exact release date just yet. While we wait for more details, check out the current FENTY x PUMA releases through the banner below!
