Aries x PUMA Launch Their First-Ever Collection

For the first time ever, Aries and PUMA are linking up to deliver a collection that cleverly binds both contemporary and nostalgic references. 

Initially teased during the German brand’s New York Fashion Week show back in February, we caught a glimpse of what we could only hope to be a confirmed partnership. Fast forward to today, and we’re buzzing at the realisation that our collaboration prayers have been answered! Intertwining PUMA’s sports heritage with London-born label’s premium streetwear lens, the genderless collection flaunts a retro-futuristic steez with a fashion-forward edge. Utilising bold graphics across apparel as well as a fresh take on the Mostro and Suede, let’s see what the collaboration is all about.

A Closer Look at the Aries x PUMA Collection…

Mostro ‘Black/Red’ (399344-01) & Suede ‘Black/Volt’ (399347-01)

Building on the iconic revival of the Mostro, the retro silhouette undergoes a reworked look that exudes a distinctive flair. Featuring a modified upper with hits of mesh, suede and neoprene, this iteration is garnished with a touch of luxury – adopting a predominantly black exterior. A red hue floods the sidewalls for a simple, yet effective pop of colour, whilst stealthy patent accents complete the dynamic persona.

Looking to the PUMA Suede counterpart, the sneaker also dons an Aries refashioning, dressed in a black hue. Boasting dynamic wavy panelling, rich black suede drapes across the silhouette, affirming the lavish feel of the collection. Introducing a playful burst of colour, crisp White stitching and vibrant Volt green laces work in unison, whilst the Black midsole and outsole preserve a polished look.

Aries x PUMA Apparel 

Fusing style and edge, the collection’s apparel flaunts standout pieces like a moto-mesh long sleeve, lace-knit and oversized tees. Additionally featuring a water-repellent nylon jacket and pants both printed with a striking “PUMA” skeletal x-ray design, this collection certainly doesn’t do things by halves. Rounding out the line-up are accessories like the PUMA x Aries Cap and Mini Grip Bag, which channel ’80s and ’90s mall vibes with a playful, kitschy twist.
