Reebok x Sneakerboy Instapump Fury – Available Now

The REEBOK x SNEAKERBOY INSTAPUMP FURY gives the classic Reebok shoe a new deluxe pony hair makeover, courtesy of Australia’s Sneakerboy.

If you haven’t heard about Sneakerboy yet, now is the time to start frantically Googling. The brain child of Australian Chris Kyvetos hides amongst the smart buildings in the business district of Melbourne. The concept behind the sneaker store, which opened doors in 2013, entwines the fast pace of online fashion, with the ability of being able to feel and see the item in real life before you buy. You can see the shoes up close and feel the different luxury materials before making your choice and buying it via their app. You then have the excitement of waiting for it to be shipped and getting it delivered to you whilst you’re sitting at home watching TV and eating leftovers (c’mon, we all do it!).

Sneakerboy makes buying the hard-to-find luxury items you see cool people wearing just that little bit easier, and softens the blow on having to hunt something down on the internet only to then find it’s out of stock or can’t be delivered to your country. Designer items are a lot harder to find in Australia, and that’s why this online visual boutique works so well.

Sneakerboy have teamed up with Reebok to make two beautiful InstaPump Furys. They are both made from luxury pony hair and come in two neutral and nonchalant colour palettes. Both shoes are very minimalist, with a colour block upper and white EVA outsole containing Hexalite technology. The uppers are mainly pony hair, with textured neoprene sides containing the pump technology. The toe boxes are also covered in pony hair, with contrasting matte leather toe guards. S B O Y is written in bold font over the heel loops of both pairs, while an iced outsole in the same colour as the uppers ties each colourway together. The price might put the shoe in the premium category, but the luxury materials used make these a worthy purchase.
