NikeLab x Roundel Launch Event Recap

The NIKELAB x ROUNDEL LAUNCH EVENT marked the release of the second collaboration with London’s Roundel brand, in a special location perfectly suited to the theme of the project.

Taking the escalators down into the depth of Charing Cross station, the green light and eerie atmosphere would have had you thinking you were visiting the lairs of the Incredible Hulk. Escorted by London Transport staff down to the now closed-off Jubilee Line platform, vintage television sets featured the special NikeLab Air Zoom Spiridons, giving a mysterious vibe to the proceedings. Music came in the form of ’90s style garage music from Femme Fatale, which felt fully appropriate to the environment and collaboration, before Foundation and MC Creed hit the stage. With energy levels fully raised, the headline act, Heartless Crew, hit the spotlight, shutting down the event in classic style. To add to the anachronistic feel of the night, disposable cameras were passed around, with the final images due to arrive via email in a few days. A top night for a top collaboration.
