The Air Force 1 needs no introduction, having already seen nearly 2000 variations since its launch as the first Nike Air basketball shoe way back in 1982. The shoe became an icon both on and off the court for good reason: its simple, uncluttered design is versatile enough to suit any style, leading to its adoption as a footwear staple by a host of subcultures over the course of its 34-year history. This version keeps things clean with a white midsole and a warm tan upper crafted from vachetta, a high-end vegetable-tanned leather which darkens over time for a unique and beautiful patina. And as if the luxurious materials weren’t enough, the shoe also features a glow-in-the-dark heel tab and Phylon cushioning for comfort to match its looks.
