NIKEiD NFL COLLECTION – AVAILABLE NOW

 

The NIKEiD NFL collection brings a new perspective to the Nike iD platform, giving us a chance to test out some different colours and materials across one of the most classic and iconic Nike models: the Nike Dunk. It’s always nice to go beyond the normal comfort zone, but sometimes you just want a classic shoe with some strong colourway options – and that’s exactly what we’ve got here. American football might be relatively obscure to us here in the UK, but its popularity is growing and with the NFL currently in town, these iD options you can show your allegiance to some of the best teams out there.

To get things going, we went for the Miami Dolphins option on the Dunk High base shoe. There’s something a little ‘Orchard St.’ about the colours here: teal, orange, white – these are all good things when it comes to shoe colours.

 

 

The Oakland Raiders have to be one of the most-loved teams in the NFL, so their monochromatic palette is definitely going to be a popular choice. Black, silver and grey gets the job done.

 

 

Show your support for the Atlanta Falcons with this Bison-esque colourway! Red has been a popular colour this year and this option fits the bill perfectly.

 

 

The Detroit Lions have a tasty palette of blue, white and grey – which means you can rustle up this smart tennis-styled combo pretty easily. This is another one that reminds us of excellent past-gone colourways (we’re thinking Richard Mulder’s SB Dunk, but with a blue outsole). As clean as it gets!

 

 

Teal, black, white and ochre is the killer combination on this high-top for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Anything gum-like on the outsole gets double style points.

 

 

To round of our selection this time, we’ve had a crack at the Dallas Cowboys options – and come up with this simple but smart creation. Navy, grey and white is always going to be an easy option – so much so that we’ve based this on one of the ‘inspiration’ Dunks, with a few minor changes.

 

 

We think the NIKEiD NFL series is well worth checking out. The NFL angle might seem a bit unexpected initially (you can toggle the branding on or off), but there are some great colour options here.
