Alpha Project Inspired: the Nike x Stussy Air Zoom Spiridon Kukini Cage 2

The creation of the forthcoming NIKE X STUSSY AIR ZOOM KUKINI SPIRIDON CAGE 2 follows the recent Stussy x Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Caged release, this time taking a key element from one of our favourite models from the Alpha Project era.

Taking the Spiridon Caged model for its foundation, this newest hybrid design utilises the ectoplasmic webbing from the top of the Nike Air Kukini: an unusual model from 2000 which remains to be a strictly ‘Marmite’ shoe (you either love it – or you despise it). A layered waffle mesh has been used extensively throughout the upper portion of the shoe. Seeing collaborations take place on new models is definitely something we’re enjoying to witness at the moment.
