Nike x sacai Waffle Woven: Early Look

The NIKE X SACAI WAFFLE WOVEN looks to restart Chitose Abe’s ongoing collaboration with another reworked Nike classic. A product of Bill Bowerman’s experiments with a waffle iron, the aptly named Waffle first hit the tracks in 1973 and hasn’t ever really looked back. This rumoured rework by Chitose Abe for the next sacai drop shows a woven fabric upper replacing the usual mesh. The collab’s trademark doubled-up tongues and laces seal the deal, shared in early images by JF Grails. Stay tuned for more concrete info as we hear it.
