Following on from successes of the recently released Vapor Street silhouette, Virgil Abloh and Nike are showing no signs of slowing down with another performance-focused runner, this time in the form of the Waffle Racer, which is part of the “Athlete in Progress” collection. The usual nylon and suede upper are overlaid with a signature translucent mesh, as well as additional hiking style laces and a running spike inspired sole. The bold option is set to drop in the same three colourways that graced the Vapor Street.

A women’s apparel capsule will also release alongside the three footwear options; featuring two lightweight jackets with packable hoods and “KEEP BACK” detailing on the rear, a tie-dye running vest, running shorts, utility gilet, and two running pouches.
